These are the most convenient on-site pH testing strips for obtaining a fast and accurate measurement of a water sample's pH. Because pH can change dramatically during transport to a laboratory, rapid, on-site testing is the ideal method for accurate pH measurement.

While pH does not normally impact human health directly, changes in tap water pH can affect plumbing and result in health risks from other harmful chemistry and biology in the water. Subsequently, pH is as a crucial indicator of overall water quality and particularly valuable when configuring water filtration and treatment solutions.

 Important: This at-home test kit should be ordered as an addition to a laboratory test package (i.e. Core Kit: Essential, Advanced, or Extended package). Results from lab testing are often very important towards making sense of self-testing kit results.

Are test strips as good as lab tests?

For most contaminants in drinking water you need testing done in a certified lab that is equipped with the proper instruments, expertise and certifications. However, a handful of contaminants can be tested on-site with DIY tests. This product is one of those exceptions.
